A pretty long Artist's Comment, feel free to ignore it if you're not interested in my random thoughts about.. well, Anssi Kela and Cats' Night. I just feel like writing so that I can avoid my 5 history essays...
Sorry if this pic is too small.. I thought about making it 800 pixels wide so you could see the lines better, but decided that smaller pic = smaller chance for art theft.
But if you really think it's too small then just say so and I might change it to 800 pixels wide.
Anyway, just a couple of pin-up designs.
The anatomy might not be perfect, but I was focusing more on the design rather than anatomy. I mean think about it, when was the last time you saw a pin-up design with realistic anatomy?
Btw I'm not the kind of person who draws while listening to music, so I can't say that these were inspired by any song, but I do have to say that at some point of coloring I remembered Anssi Kela's song Kaksi Sisarta (Finns know what song I'm talking about) and the name of the song in english is Two sisters, so that kinda explains the title of this deviation.
I just really really love Anssi Kela's music. Not so much the new songs (don't get me wrong, they're good too), but the classics like 1972, Mikan faijan BMW, Nummela, Kaksi sisarta and Puistossa.
Unfortunately I have a bad feeling that Anssi might not be one of the performers at Cats' Night in Helsinki Zoo this year.
That would really suck because last year's Cats' Night wouldn't have been so awesome if I hadn't ended the night listening to him sing and then singing those songs in the waterbus (it's like a boat) with my sister on our way back to Helsinki (Helsinki zoo is on an island..). Oh and no, I never sing in public. I don't even have the guts to sing when I'm alone in our house. And I wasn't even drunk so I have no idea why I was singing in a crowded waterbus.
Oh and if you've never been to the Cats' Night in Helsinki Zoo, YOU SHOULD. It might not be the best zoo in the world, but you just can't beat the feeling you get from there on Cats' Night. To anyone who's interested, it's September 3rd and 10th this year.
Okay maybe I should say something about the tattoo design too.
Or maybe about dolphins? Or potatoes!
No? Okay then.
Well I actually finished the lineart and most of the coloring a long time ago, but I only managed to finish the devil's hair a while ago since I needed to buy more Promarkers.
OH and scanner ruined the colors again. But it's not too bad, I think the colors look good this way too.
Question: what do you guys think about my "normal" (as in not tribal) tattoo designs? Would you like to see more of them, and do you have any ideas what I should try? I still need to color that one Chinese dragon sleeve, but after that I need more ideas.ANYWAY
Promarkers, a bit of Stabilo markers, a black lineart marker/pen/what ever, and a red one for the lips. Oh, and a touch of white gel pen because I fail at stuff.Do not use without my permission.
This goes for ALL my other tattoos too. If you wanna use it, just ask. It's not that hard.
